NoBACZ Healthcare Launches Livestock Product Range in Austria

NoBACZ Healthcare, an innovator in livestock wound care, are delighted to announce that they will be bringing their products to the Austrian animal health market through a new supply agreement with Animed Service AG.

In July 2026, NoBACZ will introduce its livestock products to the Austrian market, expanding access to advanced, antibiotic-free barrier technologies designed to improve animal health and welfare.

NoBACZ products are based on their unique, patented mineral-polymer technology, combining a natural polymer with mineral salts. Applied as gels or liquids, the formulation rapidly sets into a waterproof “second-skin” barrier, protecting lesions from mud, water, detritus, bacteria, and environmental contaminants. Originating from research at the University of Cambridge, this technology provides durable external protection while remaining intuitive, safe, self-degrading, and environmentally responsible.

UMBIREZ™ and AMBUGREEN™ combine effective cleansing with a long-lasting external barrier. Both are antibiotic-free, composed of food- and feed-grade materials, and incorporate essential metal ions in a surgical spirit base.

• UMBIREZ™ is a proven alternative to iodine for neonatal navels, ear tags and similar high-risk entry points. UMBIREZ™ is suitable for all species of livestock, including pigs.
• AMBUGREEN™ provides durable protection for hooves, udders, surgical sites, and compromised skin across multiple species.
